Malaca Instituto was founded 50 years ago. The school is located in a residential area of Malaga, 15 minutes from the city center by bus and 10 minutes on foot from the beach. The school has 25 classrooms, a study center, a bar, a restaurant, a swimming pool, a dance hall, a room for multiple activities, a meeting room, a mini-gym, 3 terraces and gardens. The school is attended by students from 40 countries, from 16 to 60 years old.
In addition to Spanish classes, the school organizes various cultural and linguistic activities during the week.
The school is accredited by the Cervantes Institute and is also a member of the prestigious FEDELE and IALC language school associations. It is also a member of Eaquals (Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality Language Services).
Training program
All teachers at the school have received excellent training and have been selected for their academic merits, which ensures the high quality of the courses. Teachers are native Spanish speakers, have degrees in linguistics or teaching Spanish, and many have completed a Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. All teachers undergo continuous refresher courses and additional training. In addition to their positive personal qualities and love of teaching, the teachers at the school display high efficiency and the highest quality in their work.
The school forms small groups of up to 10 people. The minimum age is 16 years. Training takes place throughout the year.
• The Intensive Course 20 includes 20 Spanish lessons per week, lasting from 1 week. Groups have a maximum of 10 people.
• The super-intensive Course 30 includes 30 Spanish lessons per week, lasting from one week. Groups have a maximum of 10 people.
• The DELE exam preparation intensive course consists of 20 lessons/week for 2 or 4 weeks, in small groups.
• The Business Spanish Course consists of group lessons lasting from one to four weeks. The course includes 20 lessons of general Spanish + 10 lessons of business Spanish. The minimum age is 18 years and the minimum level of Spanish is B1.
• For people over 50 years old. General intensive course of 15 lessons + cultural events (dance classes, excursions, going to the cinema, various master classes), taking into account the interests of this age group. Maximum 10 people per group. The course is designed for 2 or 4 weeks.
• Spanish for teachers. The Spanish course for teachers consists of group lessons of 1 to 2 weeks duration. The course includes 20 Spanish lessons + 10 methodology lessons. The minimum age is 25 years.
• Spanish + flamenco / salsa. The course includes 20 Spanish lessons + 5 Flamenco or Salsa lessons. The minimum age is 16 years.
• Spanish + cooking. The course includes 20 Spanish lessons + 2 cooking lessons + activities related to gastronomy. The minimum age is 16. The duration of the course is 1 or 2 weeks.
• Spanish + internship. The program includes a Spanish course of 4 weeks or more and an unpaid internship in a Spanish company for three months or more. The minimum level is B2. The minimum age is 18 years.
